Catnap: The Cat Subscription Box

This was originally a product design project for my Surface Design class. We were supposed to designing three to five products for several pets of our choice, but I decided to take my work and expand on it. With my further designs, I looked at the trending colors for that season created this idea of a cat subscription box.
Let’s get one thing straight, cats like to sleep in boxes. (As a reference, this is my own cat sleeping in a box) So I based it on my own cat who loved to pass out in funny positions.
Autumn 2021
Inspiration
While the inspiration was drawn from images of cats looking at fish, the products are similar regular cat products, but with a unique twist. Inspiration was also drawn from my own experience as a cat owner with a White American Shorthair Cat.

Spring 2022
This project was redefined and updated for a my class called hypermedia where we were exploring how to work with the business side of websites.
Setting it up
Inspiration
Catnap took many inspirations from stamping up, art snacks, and lunchbox. These subscription platforms are very good at displaying and showing how to bring out a subscription box.
Social media
Catnap will be on different social medias such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. There will be others set up if needed
Hashtags
When the person uses the hashtags that come out each month that will be displayed on the site.
Monthly subscription box
Each month will be a different season and display everything in a way that is fun and unique. For example, winter 2022 is doll house theme. Each month will be shown in that manner.
Artist
This can have a person get a chance to display a product that is to the theme.
